Rising NY Road Runners - Rising NY Road Runners
Our popular Road Runners Program continues this spring! Rising NY Road Runners is an exciting running and teamwork program for kids of all fitness levels. It is designed to get kids moving, working as teams, and building skills while having fun. During each Thursday session, children will work in teams to complete a team challenge. Challenges change depending on the session. Students will win running tickets during each relay and collect extra tickets as they demonstrate teamwork skills. They will count and save their tickets before spending tickets on prizes during "spending time days." Rising NY Road Runners is a New York Road Runners (NYRR) program. Miss Kibler has participated in program training through the New York Road Runners. All registered students will receive a t-shirt or if they have already received a T-shirt during their first session, they may choose either a lunch box or school kit! All participants will receive a welcome letter which will also include information about submitting after school notes for Parkdale parents.Participants should wear comfortable clothes and sneakers to each session. Please dress for the weather and bring a filled water bottle each day. (Sneakers are necessary for participation.) No Refunds
