A playground experience designed just for 4-6 year olds to encourage cooperative, creative play. There will be fun activities such as: outdoor games, storytelling, arts & crafts, movement and guided playground play.  These activities will encourage social interaction, cooperation and development of motor skills.

FAQ's

Q. Once I register for an activity, will I receive any notice or reminder that the program is starting?

A. The only confirmation you will receive after an online registration is an email receipt. You will not receive any further reminders. If you register by mail, you will receive an email receipt if we have your email address. Otherwise, you will only be notified if there is not space available. We do not send reminders of programs starting.

Q. My child is on a wait list for a program. How will I know when a spot has opened up?

A. You will receive an email notification. If you let us know in advance you would prefer a phone call, we'll call you when your child is moved from the wait list. If, after the email notification has gone out and we haven't heard from you, we will call you. Keep in mind that we use the information that's in your online account, so it's important that it's up-to-date and accurate.

Q. How do I know if my activity/program/class is canceled?

A. Go to our website www.aurorarec.com and a message will be on our web page as an Alert message.

Q. Can my child’s friend have my spot in a class or on the waiting list if we are unable to attend?

A. No. We cannot transfer registrations to friends.

Q. When do you cancel summer programs due to weather?

A. We try very hard to run our programs every day. We make the decision to cancel due to weather 30 minutes before the program begins. Please check the homepage of the website; cancellations are posted there.

  • In case of inclement weather, session will be cancelled. Please call 652-8866 or check the website. Decision will be made by 9 am.
  • No child under the age of 4 may participate. Birth Certificate required for proof of age
