EAST - Learn to Swim

The Town of Aurora Parks & Recreation and East Aurora Swim Team will conduct this program for boys and girls, grades  Pre-K through 4th. 
The six week program will be offered at the East Aurora High School pool on Saturday mornings.
  • Pre K : Pre-School swim instruction is for children 3 & 4 years of age without the
    parent. Children will learn proper water entry and exit, underwater exploration,
    back float position, back glide, arm movement, prone glide, water safety and
    more. 
  • Level 1: Introduction to Water Skills - needs assistance
  • Level 2: Fundamental Aquatic Skills - some assistance
  • Level 3: Stroke Development -beginner swimmer.
There will be a ratio of 1 instructor for every 4 students.

REGISTRATION FOR NON - RESIDENTS WILL OPEN AT 8:30 A.M ON MONDAY MARCH 11TH .



*This Learn to Swim class is for non-competitive, beginner swimmers. After testing, a child who should be in a higher level will need to join  EAST.

FAQ's:
Q. Can I register for multiple waiting list spots if my child is already registered for a class that session.

A. No, once you are registered for a swim lesson in a session you may not register for multiple waiting list spots in hopes of changing your time slot.

Q. Can my child’s friend have my spot in a class or on the waiting list if we are unable to attend?

A. No. We cannot transfer registrations to friends.
