Schedule of Events for July 3, 2023
1:30 – 3:30 PM – KIDS FROTHY, FOAMY, FUN – Near Griggs Place. Jump into a foam bath from an East Aurora Fire Truck. Bathing suits and goggles recommended. Hose rinse the “Safe Soap” off when finished.
Visit the Hydration Station for $1.00 Freeze Pops!
1:30 – 3:30 PM – WNY Trackless Train – Near S. Grove. All aboard! Come take a ride on The Trackless Train.
For $3 you can go for a ride around the park. A portion of the proceeds will help with the Independence Day Celebration entertainment.
6:30 – 7:00 PM – INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE
GRAND MARSHALS- HANK DURSKI SR., JIM & DON BACH
PARADE begins at Main & Riley. It proceeds down Main Street, left on South Grove
to Hamlin Park. All are welcome to participate! Registration forms available at www.aurorarec.com
• KIDS PARADE ON WHEELS – for kids under “5” and over “10” and all ages in between!
Sponsored by Vidler’s. Children who participate in the parade will receive a $1.00 gift certificate to Vidler’s at Hamlin Park after the parade. Meet in village free parking off Riley Street. Children age 8 & under must be accompanied by an adult. Decorate bikes, strollers, buggies, skateboards, wheelchairs, roller blades, anything that rolls!
