This is a great way to get your children excited about photography! They will have fun learning the camera basics, as well as creative techniques to make their pictures more interesting. We will explore different areas of East Aurora to learn the best ways to capture action, pets, people, landscapes, and the environment. Students will also learn to print and be creative with their photos. Having your own camera is a plus but not mandatory.

Program Details
Tuesday - Thursday, February 19 - 21, 10am - 2pm

Feb 19
Major's Park: meet at Community Pool parking lot at 690 South Street. Learn camera basics and study outdoor portraiture. Students should dress for the weather.

Feb 20
Knox Farm State Park, 437 Buffalo Road: meet in parking lot by dog park. Outdoor pictures, action pictures. Learn how to handle the camera in cold conditions; students should dress for the weather.

Feb 21
Southside Commerce Center, 300 Gleed Avenue, Recreation Dept. Classroom - Rear Door #5: review pictures, understanding what to do with the photos after capturing images. Printing a favorite to put in a handmade frame.

For: Ages 10 - 16 yrs. - will be divided into age groups

Cost: $65

Registration: You may register online or complete and download a registration form and mail or deliver with payment to Town of Aurora Parks and Recreation Department 300 Gleed Ave, East Aurora, NY 14052.
