French Knot Spring Flowers Embroidery
French knots for beginners= the simplest, sweetest embroidery session, and a breath of fresh air for spring. Students will learn how to master the French Knot plus two additional basic stitches, including it's American cousin the Colonial Knot, and create a sampler of bouquets of spring flowers using whatever color colors they like- sweet or bold- student's choice! This class allows time for experimentation with additional stitches depending on individual students' proficiency. Acceptable for absolute beginners or those with basic embroidery knowledge.
Earth Day Needle Felted Globes
Painting with Wool: Mother Earth
You can use a needle felt needle to embed designs on a flat surface, and render 2D images, just like paint! In this special Painting with Wool we'll create mini Earths using needle felt techniques and cotton muslin- a 100% natural sustainable celebration for Earth Day.
