We will be holding private swim lessons this summer! These lessons are one-on-one with an instructor. Instructors will work with your child towards strengthening the skills they already have and learning new ones to progress through the Red Cross Curriculum.
When: Session 1 6/29 - 7/3
Session 2 7/6 - 7/10
Session 3 7/13 - 7/17
Session 4 7/20 - 7/24
Session 5 7/27 - 7/31
Session 6 8/3 - 8/07
Q. Are summer swim lessons at the Aurora Community Pool cancelled when it is raining out?
A. Not if it is a light rain. Summer swim lessons are cancelled only if it is a heavy downpour, lightning, thunder or if the outside temperature is below 65. If unsure, call the pool at 716-652-6980, or check to see if there's an Alert message on the homepage of the website; cancellations are posted there.
Q. When do you cancel summer programs due to weather?
A. We try very hard to run our programs every day. We make the decision to cancel due to weather 30 minutes before the program begins. Please check the homepage of the website; cancellations are posted there.
In case of inclement weather, class will be canceled. The decision will be made 30 minutes prior to class start time, please check the website or call 716-652-8866.
