A place for children to make new friends and enjoy summer activities that meets safety standards that mitigates the exposure of the COVID-19 virus. There will be changes to our camp and how we operate this summer but we believe that attending camp will be beneficial to your child and is needed at this time for a number of mental, emotional, and physical reasons. We will be following the New York State Department of Health Interim Guidance for Day Camp programs during the COVID -19 Public Health Emergency at Hamlin Park Day Camp.We will prioritize program activities that maximize social distancing at all facilities and areas, follow hand washing and sanitizing protocol, groups will have limited interaction with other groups of campers, more activities that will focus on little or no physical contact, sports that involve less physical closeness, increased cleaning and disinfecting of camp areas, health screening of staff and campers will be required. We will be having some special FUN DAY activities including Injest - juggling playshops, senory hikes with Evangola State Park, History walking tour & history of Hamlin Park with Town Historian Rob Goller, Visit to the EA Firehouse, Magic Show with Ted Burzynski, Millard Fillmore house tour and Reinstein Woods outreach programs. We will also be walking to the community pool for free swim along with many other fun activities planned throughout the day, every day of the week. There will be no field trips with bus transportation.

This program is an organized tee ball in a fun environment. It helps develop basic motor skills and teaches children a variety of baseball skills such as throwing, catching, batting, and running/agility. It also helps children develop skills while building their self-confidence.
 
10:30 AM - 10:45 AM    Pee Wee Soccer - Soccer, Session 1
This program prepares children (ages 4-5) for organized soccer. It helps children develop basic motor skills and teaches children a variety of soccer skills such as kicking, passing, dribbling and running/agility. It helps children develop skills while building their self-confidence.
 
11:15 AM - 11:45 AM    Pee Wee Basketball - Pee Wee Basketball, Session 1
This program helps children (ages 4-5) develop basic motor skills and teaches children in a variety of basketball skills such as shooting, dribbling, chest pass, bounce pass, and running/agility. Fun, safe, developmentally appropriate equipment is used during the program.

Learn the fundamental skills of Field Hockey this summer. Try a new sport, practice skills & drills, and learn the rules of the game!

This program is an organized tee ball in a fun environment. It helps develop basic motor skills and teaches children a variety of baseball skills such as throwing, catching, batting, and running/agility. It also helps children develop skills while building their self-confidence.
 
10:30 AM - 10:45 AM    Pee Wee Soccer - Soccer, Session 1
This program prepares children (ages 4-5) for organized soccer. It helps children develop basic motor skills and teaches children a variety of soccer skills such as kicking, passing, dribbling and running/agility. It helps children develop skills while building their self-confidence.
 
11:15 AM - 11:45 AM    Pee Wee Basketball - Pee Wee Basketball, Session 1
This program helps children (ages 4-5) develop basic motor skills and teaches children in a variety of basketball skills such as shooting, dribbling, chest pass, bounce pass, and running/agility. Fun, safe, developmentally appropriate equipment is used during the program.

A place for children to make new friends and enjoy summer activities that meets safety standards that mitigates the exposure of the COVID-19 virus. There will be changes to our camp and how we operate this summer but we believe that attending camp will be beneficial to your child and is needed at this time for a number of mental, emotional, and physical reasons. A place for children to make new friends and enjoy summer activities that meets safety standards that mitigates the exposure of the COVID-19 virus. There will be changes to our camp and how we operate this summer but we believe that attending camp will be beneficial to your child and is needed at this time for a number of mental, emotional, and physical reasons. We will be following the New York State Department of Health Interim Guidance for Day Camp programs during the COVID -19 Public Health Emergency at Hamlin Park Day Camp.We will prioritize program activities that maximize social distancing at all facilities and areas, follow hand washing and sanitizing protocol, groups will have limited interaction with other groups of campers, more activities that will focus on little or no physical contact, sports that involve less physical closeness, increased cleaning and disinfecting of camp areas, health screening of staff and campers will be required. We will be having some special FUN DAY activities including Injest - juggling playshops, senory hikes with Evangola State Park, History walking tour & history of Hamlin Park with Town Historian Rob Goller, Visit to the EA Firehouse, Magic Show with Ted Burzynski, Millard Fillmore house tour and Reinstein Woods outreach programs. We will also be walking to the community pool for free swim along with many other fun activities planned throughout the day, every day of the week. There will be no field trips with bus transportation.

This competitive program is designed for players preparing for High School and Modified soccer.  The format will consist of 4v4 to 6v6 small sided games that emphasize technical and tactical situations. Players will improve upon their first touch which will allow and create tactical scenarios including movement with and without the ball, maintaining possession, and individual awareness.

This program is an organized tee ball in a fun environment. It helps develop basic motor skills and teaches children a variety of baseball skills such as throwing, catching, batting, and running/agility. It also helps children develop skills while building their self-confidence.

This program prepares children (ages 4-5) for organized soccer. It helps children develop basic motor skills and teaches children a variety of soccer skills such as kicking, passing, dribbling and running/agility. It helps children develop skills while building their self-confidence.
